Role and Team
  • Under the guidance of the Lot Manager or assigned supervisor, you will operate vehicles on-site to support auction operations. Your responsibilities will include safely moving, staging, and parking vehicles in designated areas. You will also perform additional tasks as directed by management, ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant laws.
Responsibilities
  • Consistently operate vehicles with safety as a priority, demonstrating cautious and courteous driving habits.
  • Carry out various tasks such as moving, staging, and parking a diverse range of vehicles in support of daily auction activities. Follow instructions from the Lead Driver to maintain an efficient vehicle flow during the auction process.
  • Utilize the Internal Tracking system to scan parked vehicles, ensuring accurate inventory management and tracking of vehicle movements.
  • Promptly report any driving-related incidents or potential issues that may affect your ability to operate a vehicle legally or safely.
  • Adhere to loss prevention protocols and report incidents immediately to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees and customers, responding appropriately to accidents or injuries, and reporting them to management without delay.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under varying weather conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capability to understand alphanumeric ordering, traffic signage, and basic English instructions.
  • Dedicated, hardworking team player.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the automotive or auction industry is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license that meets company standards.
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.

The physical demands of this position range from Light to Medium Physical Work.

Frequent - standing, observing, touching, listening, walking, and communicating.

Potential - running, jumping, or other rapid movements in emergency situations.

Visual acuity requirements include color perception, depth perception, and field of vision consistent with definitions for Clerical, Administrative, and Machine Operator positions.

Physical Working Conditions:

This role involves both indoor and outdoor work environments, subject to temperature fluctuations, varying weather conditions, and moderate noise levels, along with exposure to common environmental factors such as fumes and dust.
