This role involves fueling and positioning aircraft, assisting with baggage handling, and maintaining effective communication with customer service teams via radio.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Welcome passengers and crew members upon their arrival.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and vendors to deliver comprehensive ground services for general aviation aircraft, including fueling, lavatory services, ground power, potable water, and catering.
  3. Manage the marshalling, towing, and positioning of aircraft on the ramp and within hangars.
  4. Oversee fuel movement, ensuring quality control, proper disposal, and accurate documentation.
  5. Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of crew vehicles.
  6. Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and security of ramp operations.
  7. Operate shuttle vehicles for passenger transport.
  8. Participate in monthly crew meetings and annual training sessions.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  1. Strong customer service orientation with an outgoing personality.
  2. Effective communication skills for interactions with customers and team members, both in person and via radio.
  3. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as operating a motor vehicle is required.
  4. Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  5. Basic mathematical skills.
  6. Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and involves direct interaction with both stationary and moving aircraft. Employees may encounter hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include:

  1. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  2. Potential exposure to hazardous conditions.
  3. Work in all weather conditions.
  4. Physical activities such as bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing.
Position Details

This is a non-exempt position that includes shift work, requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience
  1. Preferred experience in customer service within the service industry.
  2. Prior experience in aircraft ground handling is advantageous.
  3. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  4. Entry-level candidates are welcome.
  5. Must pass a background check and maintain a drug-free status.
