Job Summary:

As a Lead Monitor Technician at Infirmary Health, you will provide leadership to a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, quality care and services for a designated group of patients. Your expertise in EKG interpretation and monitoring procedures will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously observe and document EKG rhythms for an assigned group of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest monitoring procedures and technologies to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • EKG interpretation training.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring procedures.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Monitor Technician Certificate.
  • Desired: 2 years of Monitor Tech experience.
