Coder/Auditor - Physician's Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Coder/Auditor to join our team at USA Health. As a key member of our clinical coding team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our medical coding practices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform correct coding (CPT4/ICD10) for provider services
- Audit services billed without prior coding review to ensure accuracy
- Provide education and training to leaders and providers on coding best practices
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of claims to ensure accuracy and sufficiency of supporting documentation
- Prepare and present educational programs related to coding and compliance
- Assist in the management of coding and billing auditing and monitoring program
- Associate's degree in a health information technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (AHIME)
- Current certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) with the AHIMA or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with the AAPC
- Directly related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education
