NES Fircroft is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the energy industry. Our client, OneSubsea (JV of Schlumberger, Aker Solutions and Subsea7), located in Mobile, Alabama is looking to add an NDE (non-destructive examination) Technician II.
Position Summary
OneSubsea is seeking to hire an experienced NDT technician to conduct rigorous NDT tests for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and calibrating testing equipment, conducting material tests, interpreting results, and generating reports on your findings.
To be successful as an NDT technician, you should have extensive experience with NDT technologies, strong attention to detail, and meticulous reporting skills. Ultimately, a top-notch NDT technician provides reliable and detailed information about structural stability, leading to improved quality and safety.
Essential Duties
Education and Required Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma Must possess and maintain NDT Level II certifications in RT (X-Ray Tube and Computed Radiography) and PT (UTT, VT and MT optional)
Preferred Qualifications
ASNT Level II PT, MT, RT Certified Welding Inspector (Current) Alabama State Radiography Card (Current)
Required Licenses
40-Hour Radiation Safety Training
