Restaurant Leadership Opportunity
Black Restaurant Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality food and beverage standards, and driving sales growth in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restaurant Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to achieve sales and service goals.
- Inventory Management: Conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts, analyzing data to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
- Scheduling: Create and manage schedules for front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff, including service and beverage knowledge, to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on customer service and sales growth.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management.
- Certifications: Current ServSafe and Tips certifications preferred.
