This position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to utilize McDonald's branding and food products while managing the restaurant. Role Summary:
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while adhering to McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This position entails collaborating with leadership to establish and pursue the restaurant's objectives.
To achieve these goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, each responsible for specific areas within the restaurant. This includes guiding Department Managers in setting their own targets, monitoring their progress, and providing coaching to enhance departmental performance. By fostering improvements within departments, the overall restaurant performance is elevated.
The General Manager may also oversee the recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers, ensuring the restaurant is equipped with a capable team for future success.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Successful candidates should possess prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume settings. A background in quick-service restaurants is highly preferred, along with experience in hospitality or retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to assume a managerial role in our corporate-owned and operated establishments.

In addition to competitive compensation, a General Manager at a McDonald's corporate-owned restaurant is eligible for exceptional benefits, including:
