Job Title: Commercial Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Guitar Center. As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business and sales of high-end audio-visual systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of systems to clients.
  • Perform site visits to document field conditions and develop AV functional diagrams.
  • Generate proposals and sales orders, including areas of concern, scope of service, schedule, and payment terms.
  • Manage and oversee proposal content and prepare orders as required.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain and expand sales within assigned territories.
  • Forecast demand for products within assigned territories.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for customer issues or activities.
  • Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 0-2 years of low-voltage, audio-video, lighting, and/or shades sales experience in a commercial or residential sales environment.
  • Annual quota of $1M.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be required dependent on business needs.
