Job Title: Commercial Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Guitar Center. As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business and sales of high-end audio-visual systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with our engineers and other team members to ensure the seamless delivery of our systems to clients.
  • Interface with customers to understand their needs and objectives, and identify solutions and business opportunities.
  • Perform site visits to document field conditions and develop AV functional diagrams.
  • Generate proposals and submit sales orders packages.
  • Manage and oversee proposal content and prepare orders as required.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain and expand sales within an assigned territory.
  • Forecast demand for products within the assigned territory.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for customer issues or activities.
  • Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 0-2 years of low voltage, audio-video, lighting, and/or shades sales experience in a commercial or residential sales environment.
  • Annual quota of $1M.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be required dependent on business needs.
