Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at Resilient Strategies LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that is committed to advancing social and economic justice.

The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies to advance our mission and goals. This includes creating and disseminating compelling narratives, building relationships with media outlets, and managing our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to advance our mission and goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, including English and Chinese language media
  • Manage our digital presence, including social media and website content
  • Coordinate and create materials for campaigns and rapid response communications
  • Track and monitor issue environment and evaluate impact of our narrative interventions

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications or a related field
  • Commitment to social and economic justice and lifting up grassroots voices
  • Experience working with English and Chinese language media
  • Excellent project management and facilitation skills
  • Google Suite proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Cantonese or Mandarin
  • Experience working with working-class Chinese immigrants and/or other BIPOC communities
  • Experience in team management and supervision

Work Environment:

This is an exempt position with a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive health benefits package and a generous paid time off schedule.
