Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Senior Living community as Executive Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of resident care, meeting financial goals, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Relations:
    • Develop and implement resident relations programs to enhance community hospitality and services
    • Solicit feedback from residents, families, and stakeholders to maintain and improve community services
    • Establish effective relationships with other community department heads
  • Financial Management:
    • Plan and develop operating budgets within company guidelines
    • Regularly monitor department performance and analyze community financial status
    • Train community management in cost control techniques
  • Marketing and Sales:
    • Maintain a high level of occupancy through effective marketing strategies
    • Provide leadership and direction in marketing the community
    • Develop relations with local referral sources
  • Employee Relations:
    • Oversee recruitment, selection, retention, and termination of community employees
    • Ensure adequate and effective orientation and training of community job-specific duties
    • Supervise and evaluate community managers
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required with appropriate work experience
  • Experience: Strong leadership skills with a minimum of five years' experience in supervising and management
  • Skills:
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook software
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, residents, family members, and outside contacts
Physical Demands

The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

  • Stand and/or walk up to six hours a day and sit up to two hours a day
  • Occasionally support up to 50 pounds
