Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our ministry, Biblical Leadership for Excellence (BLE). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the ministry, collaborating with the Board of Directors, and ensuring the effective implementation of our mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with our mission and vision.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication methods and structures to ensure seamless collaboration among staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers.
  • Provide regular financial and ministry reports to the Board of Directors, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Supervise daily ministry operations, ensuring that all activities and events support our mission, vision, and strategy.
  • Effectively delegate tasks, make decisions, train, and provide role clarification for staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers.
  • Oversee and evaluate ministry events to ensure they are completed efficiently, inclusively, and with respect.
  • Demonstrate maturity and excellence in representing the ministry, maintaining collaborative relationships with staff and ministry leaders, and representing the ministry to the public, churches, businesses, and other organizations.
  • Collaborate with the existing Executive Director to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Establish prerequisites for the ministry's financial performance, including creating and implementing annual fundraising plans to meet budgetary needs.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Passionate about BLE's mission, vision, and strategy.
  • Exemplifies a life consistent with BLE's ministry strategy and core values.
  • Effective and enthusiastic communication skills in both public speaking and written communications.
  • Organizational leadership experience.
  • Strategic planner.
  • Encourages and exemplifies a process improvement mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience with exemplary character of servant leadership, including 3 years in a traditional work outside a church or full-time ministry position.
  • Minimum 5 years personal ministry leadership experience as a volunteer serving in a church or ministry organization.
  • Experienced in leading small group Bible studies.
