An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Commercial Executive to join a prominent main contractor engaged in an asset management initiative in the West Midlands.

This role is particularly suited for experienced Quantity Surveyors or Managing Quantity Surveyors aiming to elevate their careers to the Commercial Executive level within a leading organization in the UK's infrastructure domain.

The Senior Commercial Executive will work closely with the Commercial Director and Quantity Surveyors to oversee client contracts, manage risks, and optimize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and enhance tender strategies and cost frameworks
  • Collaborate with the finance department to devise asset financing solutions
  • Work alongside the commercial team to resolve identified challenges
  • Generate and present monthly commercial and financial reports
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders effectively
  • Negotiate and manage contracts
  • Possess knowledge of dispute resolution mechanisms
  • Support the wider commercial team throughout the project
  • Guide and mentor junior surveyors involved in the project
