Position Overview:

As a Property Leasing Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting prospective tenants in finding their ideal home. This dynamic position offers variety and excitement, with no two days being alike. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you. In addition to leasing responsibilities, you will also support the management team with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Traveling to various locations across multiple counties to showcase our diverse portfolio of properties.
  • Presenting available apartments and their amenities to potential renters in an engaging manner.
  • Building strong relationships with current and prospective tenants by providing personalized service.
  • Preparing and executing lease agreements and addendums in compliance with property standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of apartment availability and unit statuses.
  • Monitoring the use of community facilities and ensuring they are well-maintained.
  • Screening potential tenants to confirm they meet eligibility criteria.
  • Coordinating the orientation process for new tenants.
  • Assisting with various office and clerical tasks as needed.
  • Following up on service requests to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Processing rent payments, security deposits, and other fees.
  • Maintaining organized documentation and records.
  • Conducting property inspections during tenant move-ins and move-outs.
  • Addressing tenant inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Collaborating with team members while also being able to work independently.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing, hospitality, or administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with YARDI and CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during peak periods.
  • Solid understanding of the real estate sector.
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role.
