Assisted Living Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our vibrant senior living community family as a dedicated receptionist. As a key member of our team, you will be the warm first impression for our residents and their loved ones, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a multi-line telephone system, answering calls in a timely manner and relaying messages accurately and in a courteous, customer-friendly manner.
- Provide a positive first impression of the community to all customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
- Distribute and send mail and faxes, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
- Assist managers in special projects and mailings as requested, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team.
- Maintain confidentiality of residents' personal information, protecting and supporting their rights and dignity.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, encouraging a positive nurturing environment for residents, families, vendors, and guests.
- Ensure adequate daily coverage for meal service, communicating with the Culinary Services Director and/or Host/Hostess to meet the needs of residents and guests.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Ability to maintain a positive, pleasant manner in a stressful, demanding environment.
- Ability to read, write, and verbalize understanding of written documentation, verbal instructions, and policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision, following community procedures and guidelines and using good judgment.
- Demonstrates a SERVANT heart and attitude by following the Bethesda Senior Living Communities' mission statement.
