About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Damage Restoration Technician to join our team at RestoPros of Northeast Georgia. As a key member of our restoration services team, you will play a critical role in responding to customer needs for water and fire restoration jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic demolition of drywall, flooring, and other affected structures to facilitate restoration activities.
  • Conduct thorough disinfecting and cleaning of remaining property structures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
  • Document work being performed on the job via photos and video using mobile apps to provide accurate and detailed records.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities by moving content, covering content and furniture with plastic, setting up plastic containment barriers to prevent further damage.
  • Set up commercial drying equipment (air movers, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers) to facilitate efficient drying and restoration processes.
  • Leave the job site with a clean and orderly appearance, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive reputation for RestoPros of Northeast Georgia.
  • Communicate openly and effectively with customers, managers, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • IICRC certification is preferred, but we will assist you in obtaining the necessary certifications to excel in this role.
  • Experience with general construction/demolition tools and work is essential for success in this position.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work are required.
Physical Requirements
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance, is necessary for this role.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) is required.
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time and repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects is essential.
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals is necessary for this role.
