Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mold Abatement Technician to join our team at RestoPros of Northeast Georgia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in addressing customer needs related to water and mold restoration projects. Your responsibilities will include the safe removal and abatement of mold-affected materials such as drywall and flooring, as well as the disassembly of cabinets and countertops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct basic demolition tasks on drywall, flooring, and other structures impacted by mold and water damage.
  • Perform thorough disinfecting and cleaning of properties affected by water or mold.
  • Ensure job sites are left clean and organized.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, management, and fellow technicians.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with general construction and demolition tools.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Capability to climb ladders and work at heights, as well as in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in repetitively pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
  • Comfortable working with cleaning products and chemicals.
