As a Water Damage Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in addressing customer needs related to water and fire restoration projects. Your daily tasks will involve various restoration activities, including drying and demolition.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct basic demolition of affected structures such as drywall and flooring
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the impacted areas
- Prepare and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and tools
- Document job progress through photos and videos using mobile applications
- Prepare work areas by moving items and setting up containment barriers
- Deploy commercial drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
- Ensure job sites are left clean and orderly
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and fellow technicians
- Preferred IICRC certification, with assistance provided for obtaining it
- Experience with general construction and demolition tools
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Capability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects
- Comfortable working with cleaning products and chemicals
