Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead our construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work complies with project requirements, including quality, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple job sites with a team of project managers and superintendents
  • Participate in preconstruction services, including reviewing owner expectations and coordinating with the design team
  • Identify key subcontractors and promote partnering sessions
  • Review and approve bid packages, schedules, and site utilization plans
  • Manage project financials and maintain knowledge of project budget
  • Analyze financial ability of subcontractors and prepare revenue projections
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and set up project schedules of values
  • Manage change order process and enforce company bonding and insurance policies
  • Recruit and develop job site staff, enforce company policy, and promote employee morale
  • Administer document control, RFI process, and prepare monthly reports
  • Implement safety and QC programs and promote client relations
  • Manage project closeout and post-construction services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline or 10 years of experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction project management applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with owners, engineers, and team members
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and building motivated teams
  • Highly developed project management finance skills
