Job Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:
Collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure the effective execution of multifamily construction projects. Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.

Contract Management:
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, change orders, and purchase orders. Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including progress reports, site logs, and record drawings.

Quality Assurance:
Supervise quality assurance processes to confirm that construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.

Financial Oversight:

Aid in the formulation and monitoring of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and reporting any discrepancies or potential cost overruns to the project management team.


Procurement and Logistics:
Support the procurement process by soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers, assessing proposals, and assisting with vendor selection. Coordinate deliveries and logistics to ensure timely arrival of materials and equipment at the construction site.

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards. Maintain a strong emphasis on safety practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Construction Documentation:
Assist in maintaining precise project documentation, including drawing revisions, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and closeout documents. Organize and manage electronic and physical files for easy access and reference.

Collaboration and Communication:
Build strong relationships and maintain effective communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subcontractors. Participate in regular project meetings, provide updates on project progress, and address any construction-related issues that arise.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project engineering or management, preferably within the multifamily or commercial sector.
A solid understanding of construction principles, building codes, and regulations.
Proficient in construction project management software, including scheduling, document control, and collaboration tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across various teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable construction practices is a plus.
