Core Responsibilities:

  • Project Strategy: Formulate and oversee detailed project strategies, encompassing timelines, financial plans, and resource distribution. Ensure that objectives align with client expectations and industry benchmarks.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to facilitate smooth collaboration and implementation of construction tasks.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the main liaison for clients, fostering strong relationships and providing consistent updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project finances, track spending, and ensure that financial targets are achieved. Identify and address potential budget overruns promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all construction activities comply with the company's quality benchmarks and meet the specific demands of retail, automotive, healthcare, and dining projects.
  • Risk Assessment: Recognize potential risks to project timelines and budgets, and devise strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure that all projects adhere to local building regulations, safety standards, and industry-specific guidelines, particularly in healthcare and food service sectors.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive and precise project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively tackle and resolve any challenges that arise during the construction process, minimizing disruptions and sustaining project progress.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction, focusing on large-scale retail, automotive, healthcare, or dining projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial construction practices and industry-specific regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site in various conditions and navigate through construction environments.
