Your Responsibilities:
Key Duties:
  • Manage the nightly operations of the hotel, including front desk functions and financial reporting.
  • Ensure all front office activities adhere to established standards and objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and sensitive hotel data.
  • Assist guests, team members, and vendors throughout your shift.
  • Uphold a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff, reporting any security issues promptly.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Analyze guest feedback to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Communicate regularly with all departments to keep staff informed of updates and issues.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front office, reception area, lobby, and storage spaces.
  • Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all equipment.
  • Conduct regular property walks to monitor guest safety and security.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year in hospitality; 2 years in hotel or clerk roles preferred.
  • Experience with cash handling and computerized Point of Sale systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of labor and industry-specific regulations.
  • Capability to park and retrieve guest vehicles.
  • Ability to secure the property by ensuring all doors are locked.
  • Basic negotiation skills and strong customer service aptitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
