The Senior Coordinator for Patient Services plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating optimal patient flow and delivering exceptional customer service
- Meeting monthly performance targets and managing data entry
- Overseeing scheduling and treatment plans
- Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Coordinating with the Precertification Department for necessary authorizations
- Managing inventory and ensuring adequate supplies
- Communicating effectively with management regarding any operational issues
- Monitoring appointment capacity and addressing any backlogs
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for patients
- Training new staff members as needed
- Completing administrative tasks and managing clinic expenses
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Essential Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
- At least one year of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Reliable transportation to various clinic locations
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
