**Compelling Salary Package**

The starting compensation for this role is approximately $231,000 per annum, with potential for cash and stock incentives based on performance. This competitive salary takes into account the job's requirements, skills, and location.

**Job Overview**

This position plays a pivotal role in providing legal advice, guidance, and support for Alliance Management and Business Development transactions. You will be responsible for leading negotiations, drafting complex agreements, and advising internal clients on various transactions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead negotiations and provide direct counseling to internal clients on routine, moderate, and complex Business Development transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and interpretation on rights and obligations under executed agreements.
  • Assist with resolution of disputes under executed agreements.
  • Lead negotiations for new agreements that expand relationships with existing collaborators.
  • Advise internal clients on structuring and advising on various transactions while addressing legal risks.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Law degree from a recognized university.
  • Qualification to practice law in New Jersey or ability to obtain a NJ in-house counsel limited license.
  • Minimum of 10 years of legal experience.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating Business Development agreements related to the bio/pharmaceutical industry.
