Strategic Program Lead

About the Role:
The Strategic Program Lead - Customer Solutions Engineering is a pivotal position at Rocket Software, responsible for driving the successful delivery of our solutions through effective program management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the assigned program portfolio, ensuring each program aligns with Rocket's organizational goals.
- Lead the development and adoption of metrics and KPIs to measure program performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Partner with CSE Project Managers and CSE Delivery Engineering to optimize resource allocation across the program portfolio.
- Drive the identification, documentation, and application of lessons learned across programs, promoting continuous improvement and best practices.
- Provide leadership and direction to program teams, ensuring alignment with program objectives and high performance.
- Foster a collaborative environment, building strong relationships among program team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and support Project Managers assigned to workstreams, consolidating and summarizing information for program-level reporting.
- Develop and implement comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring clear communication and alignment with program objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 15 years of industry experience in software, including program or project management.
- Bachelor's degree and Master's or equivalent experience.
- Current program/project management certification from PMI or equivalent organization.
- Strong program management skills and experience, with ability to apply correct tools and processes.
- Demonstrated success mentoring and supporting less experienced Project Managers.
- Experience working with senior executives and managing stakeholder communications and expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
