Job Summary:

Vital to the success of Orthocincy, this role provides patients and visitors with a premier orthopaedic experience, focusing on individual needs.


Key Responsibilities:
# Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming manner.
# Communicate effectively in a clinical environment with patients, staff, and physicians.
# Attend department meetings and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
# Provide compassionate support to patients and visitors in distress.
# Ensure patients' individual needs are met, including personal hygiene and transfers.
# Collect and update patient information, facilitate scheduling, and perform clerical duties.
# Maintain electronic medical records and collect payments according to policy.
# Distribute paperwork efficiently and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards.
# Take initiative in performing additional tasks for the best interest of the practice.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, minimum one year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting. Previous medical knowledge and CPR/AED certification are preferred.

Performance Expectations:
# Knowledge of Orthocincy's Mission, Vision, and Values.
# Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy.
# Skilled in attention to detail, organizing, and communicating effectively.
# Ability to multitask, process transactions, and work in a team environment.

Work Environment:
Medical office setting, involving sitting and viewing computer monitors for approximately 90% of the day. Must be able to use body mechanics techniques for patient transfers and remain focused without distractions.
