Front Office Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at the University of California. In this role, you will provide administrative and patient care support to assigned clinics, ensuring smooth outpatient flow and optimum patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic, from registration to discharge
- Assist in coordinating appointments, transportation arrangements, and maintaining sub-specialty physician schedules
- Communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high-volume setting
- Provide excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate multiple appointments with staff from various clinical services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
- Proficiency in using a PC with associated programs, including Word, Excel, and Email
- Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Skill in using a database computer program
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
Salary Range: $25.60/hr - $36.33/hr
