Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at eliseo. As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for our residents. This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence for newly admitted residents.
  • Accept and give reports at the beginning and end of shifts, as well as as appropriate.
  • Answer telephone calls, greet and direct patients, salespeople, and visitors.
  • Maintain a current roster of residents on the unit and keep a listing of emergency and commonly used telephone numbers.
  • Organize nursing station files, desk area, and maintain orderliness of the unit.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Previous Medical Records/Health Information experience or training required.
  • Experience with Point Click Care preferred.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
