We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Avamere at Pacific Ridge in Tacoma, WA.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and services. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications, reviewing medication cards for accuracy, and preparing residents for medical procedures.

Schedule and Benefits:

This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts with opportunities for PRN shifts. You will enjoy a competitive salary of $36+ per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and review medication cards for accuracy
  • Prepare residents for medical procedures
  • Complete required record-keeping for admitting, transferring, and discharging residents
  • Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan daily services and activities
  • Lead nursing personnel and make daily rounds to ensure staff is providing direct care in accordance with resident care plans
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Washington
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
