About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the Leo A. Hoffmann Center, Inc. in the New Ulm, Mankato, Waseca, and St. Peter areas.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse client populations and modalities, developing your skills and expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate individual and family skills activities with children, adolescents, adults, and families
  • Complete timely and professional written reports and documentation
  • Participate in weekly consult meetings
  • Maintain up to 25 hours of client contact per week, with opportunities for overtime
  • Maintain reliable transportation to attend client sessions in the home, school, and community
Qualifications
  • Qualifying via education: Bachelor's degree and completed internship in mental health or related social services field, or master's or other graduate degrees in behavioral sciences or related fields
  • Qualifying via work experience: At least 2,000 hours of experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families with mental illness, substance use, developmental disabilities, or traumatic brain injury
