Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Therapeutic Services Agency, Inc. (TSA) is a leading provider of mental health services, dedicated to delivering innovative and evidence-based practices since 1978. We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to join our team, working with children who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, and skills training to clients.
  • Develop and implement culturally affirmative and language-specific mental health services.
  • Collaborate with community groups, schools, and professionals to promote and market the program.
  • Present at conferences and workshops to raise awareness about the benefits of culturally affirmative mental health services.

Requirements:

  • Must be professionally licensed or license-eligible in Minnesota as a LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English and exposure to American Sign Language.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Working knowledge of computer platforms, including word processing, spreadsheet, database entry, and video conferencing.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • In-depth knowledge of Deaf culture, language deprivation, and communication barriers.
  • 2 years of clinical practice serving children and adolescents with Emotional Disturbance and Severe Emotional Disturbance.
