Orthopedic Nurse

In this role, you will be part of a growing national partnership of orthopedic practices, providing support, capital, and operational resources to physicians. As a Management Services Organization (MSO), Spire Orthopedic Partners provides the infrastructure for administrative operations, allowing practices to operate at their highest level.
You will be responsible for facilitating patient management in the surgical center, making pre-op calls to patients, collaborating with front office staff on intake process, assisting with pre-op assessment and teaching, planning and preparing for interoperative nursing care, gathering equipment and supplies, creating and maintaining sterile fields, functioning as Scrub and Circulating nurse, performing sponge, sharps, and instrument counts, administering medications and solutions, positioning and preparing patients on operating tables, monitoring and controlling the environment, adhering to safety standards and precautions, delegating duties to competent personnel, participating in maintaining equipment and sterilizing procedures, performing in emergency situations, evaluating readiness for patient discharge, collaborating with anesthesiologists in the discharge process, reporting potential or actual adverse events, documenting clearly, and maintaining pleasant and open communication with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
