Apple's Security Engineering & Architecture (SEAR) establishes the security framework across all of Apple's cutting-edge products, including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.

These frameworks span from the foundational levels of the device to the off-device services that collaboratively safeguard our users.


Are you enthusiastic about embedding security throughout the product development lifecycle for everything Apple provides to millions of users? We seek an individual with exceptional communication and program management expertise, along with a solid understanding of security principles, to assist a team in defining and executing cloud infrastructure and applications that fulfill the security requirements for billions of Apple devices globally.


You will collaborate with and influence colleagues across Apple to ensure that security remains a priority in our products.

You will become part of a team of project managers dedicated to and passionate about our security technologies.
Responsibilities: You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to outline, schedule, and implement plans for security features and mitigations.

Additionally, you will need to swiftly identify and address inter-dependencies or alignment challenges to assist the team in collaborating with various organizations.

You will be responsible for clearly escalating significant concerns to the relevant stakeholders.

You will serve as the primary liaison with partners from multiple divisions to define security features, timelines, and deliverables.

Identifying project risks to ensure adherence to timelines will be crucial.

Communicating project objectives and progress to management, project teams, and partners will be a vital aspect of this role.

Ultimately, you will be accountable for pinpointing areas for process enhancement, proposing solutions, and driving implementation.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in any Engineering discipline. Project management experience in engineering development and/or security. Extensive experience leading complex and large cross-functional projects.

Preferred Qualifications: Self-driven and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking skills. Passionate about quality with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to distill pertinent information for the appropriate audience, including through the use of reporting and dashboards. Proven capability to collaborate with partners across different roles and departments. Experience in driving security engineering initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits: At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows for growth as you develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if they voluntarily participate in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
