Position Overview:

US Oncology, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) department. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status.
  • Provide education and resources to patients and their families.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and the healthcare team.
  • Support clinical operations and assist in triaging patient inquiries.
  • Act as a resource for LPNs and medical assistants.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience, with a preference for oncology.
  • Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Working Environment:

The role involves exposure to various clinical conditions typical of an oncology setting. Physical demands include the ability to lift and move patients, as well as standing for extended periods.
