Job Summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fire Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supervising a team of professionals in the fire protection industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of fire protection professionals, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Operational Management: Plan and coordinate daily and weekly schedules, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all team members are producing high-quality work, meeting or exceeding production, quality, and safety goals.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards, identifying and addressing potential hazards and risks.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with sales, customer service, and other internal departments to resolve customer concerns and provide excellent service.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure that all documentation and data entry associated with inspections and repairs are completed accurately and on time.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to team members, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Plan and oversee a preventive maintenance program, ensuring that all equipment and accessories are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and implement procedures for assigned operations, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least five years of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery, or related industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED, with an associate's degree in a science or technical field strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and other database software, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  • Certifications: Must obtain TWIC card and other safety-related badges/certifications as needed.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrated commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, an unwavering commitment to safety and health, and high ethical standards.
Working Environment

This role will involve a combination of office, shop, indoor, and outdoor industrial environments, with frequent exposure to cold, hot, wet, humid, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
