About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Pyro's Fire Fresh Pizza. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and a positive work environment.
  • Operational Management: Manage key operational and financial performance metrics, including food quality, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity.
  • Marketing and Branding: Market a rapidly growing brand, promoting Pyro's Fire Fresh Pizza as a leader in the pizza industry.
  • Guest Experience: Create a legendary guest service experience, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return.
  • Restaurant Systems: Master restaurant systems, including POS, HR, scheduling, inventory, and other essential tools.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years of restaurant management and supervisory experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, and Micros, is a plus. Proficient in restaurant functions such as food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and report preparation.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability, and an outgoing personality are essential. A pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance are also required.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to motivate employees to work as a team, ensuring that food and service meet appropriate standards. Good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff and guests are necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
