Position Summary: The Clinical Quality Improvement Nurse is integral to the development, implementation, and assessment of educational and training initiatives within the healthcare environment. This role focuses on establishing objectives, suggesting policies, and evaluating program effectiveness through established learning theories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care to patients and their families
  • Provide expert consultation services
  • Serve as a catalyst for change within the organization
  • Engage in educational, coaching, and mentoring activities
  • Conduct relevant research
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs
  • Involve in initiatives aimed at performance enhancement
  • Support leadership and professional growth opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting
  • Experience in high-traffic Emergency environments is advantageous
  • Active Registered Nurse License in Georgia
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are mandatory
  • Current Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) from ANCC or CNE certification
  • TNCC certification is required
  • Preferred Instructor status in BLS, ACLS, or PALS
