About the Role

Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider, renowned for its cutting-edge facilities and commitment to excellence. As a Quality Improvement Specialist, RN, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality and reach of our care, driving innovation and growth in the Atlanta and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Improvement Expertise: Serve as a resource on continuous quality improvement and regulatory requirements for the hospital and medical staff.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports and communicate quality improvement information and activities to appropriate committees, teams, and task forces for the hospital and medical staff.
  • Communication Link: Serve as a communication link from committees, teams, and task forces to the medical staff.
  • Quality Data Management: Maintain quality data for medical staff reappointment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare field with 1 year of experience related to quality improvement.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines, including physicians and nurses.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide presentations on topics related to quality and regulatory issues.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to participate as part of a team to accomplish an assigned project.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership and Facilitation Skills: Previous training as a team leader and facilitator.
