Senior Air Quality Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Managing Consultant to join our Air & Climate team at Ramboll US Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining client relationships, managing project deliverables, and overseeing the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application materials.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain client relationships and manage project deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner.
- Manage projects, clients, and regulatory agency relations.
- Critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations, compile and draft regulatory applicability determinations, and communicate findings to coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Estimate emissions and conduct engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application materials.
- Serve as the technical lead overseeing Consultant-level staff on complex projects.
- Participate in local, national, and international scientific and trade group meetings.
- Conduct site visits.
- Meet Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety requirements.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in air quality and a passion for creating sustainable solutions. You will have a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline, and at least 15 years of air quality experience, largely in a consulting environment, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech medical device, and life sciences industries.

Salary Transparency Statement
At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $130,000 and $158,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
