We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Managing Consultant to join our Air & Climate team at Ramboll. With a strong background in air quality experience, particularly in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and life sciences industries, you will be able to critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Your expertise will enable you to communicate findings to coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies, and to estimate emissions and conduct engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
Your Key Responsibilities- Maintain client relationships and manage project deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner.
- Manage projects, clients, and regulatory agency relations.
- Critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Estimate emissions and conduct engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application materials.
- Serve as the technical lead overseeing Consultant-level staff on complex projects.
- Participate in local, national, and international scientific and trade group meetings.
- Conduct site visits.
- Meet Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety requirements.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in air quality experience. You will have a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline, and 15-20 years of air quality experience, largely in a consulting environment.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, and be able to demonstrate capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations. Programming, database, and GIS skills are preferred but not required.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $158,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work on interesting and diverse projects, and to develop your skills and expertise in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
