- Regulatory Compliance: Critically review and interpret environmental regulations, compiling and drafting regulatory applicability determinations, and communicating findings to clients and regulatory agencies.
- Emissions Estimation and Engineering Evaluations: Estimate emissions and conduct engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
- Permit Application Preparation: Oversee the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application materials.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead overseeing Consultant-level staff on complex projects.
- Professional Development: Participate in local, national, and international scientific and trade group meetings, and conduct site visits.
- Safety and Compliance: Meet Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety requirements.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in air quality and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced Degree: B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline.
- Extensive Experience: 15+ years of air quality experience, largely in a consulting environment, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech medical device, and life sciences industries.
- Strong Technical Skills: Strong computing skills, including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing, and strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations.
- Preferred Skills: Programming, database, and GIS skills are preferred but not required.
