Responsibilities- Provide care and assistance to patients and families, including emotional support and activities of daily living needs such as nutrition, hygiene, and elimination.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team to provide patient-family centered care, considering individual preferences, cultural and religious needs, and appropriate growth and development.
- Process patient care orders and reports accurately and timely, communicating priority orders to the responsible RN or department.
- Educate patients and families prior to medical examinations and procedures, preparing supplies and equipment as needed.
- Collect and label specimens, transport patients safely, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Restock supplies, remove outdated items, and perform quality controls on equipment.
- Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
