Position Summary
The Retail Associate plays a vital role in ensuring that every visitor receives outstanding hospitality and enjoys a premium cannabis experience. Responsibilities include:
- Addressing inquiries regarding cannabis regulations and programs.
- Engaging in community events both within and outside the dispensary.
- Managing various front-of-house tasks such as Reception, Hosting, Sales Floor Consulting, and Cashiering.
Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Associate, you will:
- Adhere to all local and state regulations and company policies.
- Act as a brand ambassador, engaging authentically with guests.
- Provide tailored recommendations on cannabis products and consumption methods.
- Ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Support the team in various tasks to promote overall success.
Compensation
$18.00 per hour, non-exempt, paid bi-weekly.
Schedule
Full-time availability is required, including weekends.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- 1+ years of retail experience (preferred).
- Experience in the cannabis industry (preferred).
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- A valid government-issued photo ID.
- At least 21 years of age.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- The ability to obtain a Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card upon hire.
