Position Overview

As a Supply Planning Expert at Mastech Digital, you will take on a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing supply planning methodologies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of Supply Planning: Act as the main business leader for supply planning operations. This encompasses the conversion of demand signals into actionable supply plans, including forecasting, master production scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Performance Assessment: Evaluate current supply planning effectiveness, pinpoint significant improvement opportunities, and spearhead global initiatives aimed at achieving desired business outcomes such as cost reductions and enhanced service levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek ways to improve supply planning efficiency through ongoing enhancements and automation of planning processes. Assess the associated business benefits and costs, leading initiatives to ensure a positive return on investment.
  • Global Governance: Facilitate global forums for supply planning professionals to establish a roadmap for continuous improvement and promote standardized best practices across various corporate divisions and regions.
  • System Development: Collaborate with Systems teams to advance supply planning automation, implement new functionalities, and address system updates and issues.
  • Training and Development: Create educational materials, onboard new users, and conduct ongoing training sessions to foster engagement among supply planning practitioners.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of eight years in supply planning roles, including manufacturing, procurement, or distribution, with a solid understanding of IBP/S&OP processes.
  • Process Improvement: At least three years of demonstrated capability in supply planning process enhancement and project management, with a proven track record of managing organizational change effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong abilities in influencing, negotiating, and presenting, with a talent for building credible relationships across various functions in a matrixed environment.
  • Communication: Proficient in communicating effectively with all organizational levels, including executive management.
  • Project Management: Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Direct experience using advanced supply chain planning platforms, with a preference for Kinaxis Rapid Response, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
