Position Overview:
As a Lead Global Supply Chain Strategist at Boston Scientific, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the planning, scheduling, and execution of demand management activities tailored to meet the needs of our customers and the objectives of our marketing teams within the Urology division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demand Management: Collaborate with the Global Supply Chain Planning Manager, Marketing, and Finance to assess statistically generated forecasts. Evaluate safety stock targets and propose adjustments based on influencing factors. Engage with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to identify all demand sources, including customer orders and scheduling agreements.
  • New Product Introduction: Act as a core team member in New Product Development. Provide critical data and insights to support the creation of forecasts, cannibalization strategies, and introduction timelines.
  • Inventory Oversight: Assist in formulating inventory strategies. Monitor inventory performance against established plans and targets. Manage reserves for expired, excess, and obsolete products.
  • Supply Chain Operations: Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly planning processes. Conduct inventory analyses and proactively manage backorders while coordinating with manufacturing and suppliers.
  • Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP): Lead demand management and net requirement handoff meetings. Participate in supply reviews with internal manufacturing sites and external suppliers, including monthly debriefs with Franchise Leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, materials management, or inventory control.
  • Proficient in DRP, MPS, MRP, SAP, or ERP systems.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Adaptable and open to new ideas and processes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, capable of making informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business stakeholders to achieve objectives.

Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient analytical skills to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting information across various organizational levels.
  • Strong collaboration skills to build relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with Kinaxis/Rapid Response and SAP.
  • Solid business acumen.
