IT Product Manager – Vendor Relations

Who You Are:

  • Proficient in managing products within intricate retail frameworks.

  • Skilled in collaborating with engineering teams, platform developers, and key stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of vendor relations processes, systems, and analytics.
  • Effective in managing budgets and resource allocation.

Role Overview:

  • Develop and implement the strategy for Vendor Relations products.
  • Ensure product alignment with technology, supply chain, and merchandising strategies through data-driven insights.
  • Concentrate on enhancing vendor performance, engagement, and integration to boost efficiency within merchandising and supply chain operations.
  • Cultivate relationships across the organization to strengthen Vendor Management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with merchandising and supply chain teams to synchronize technology with strategic objectives.
  • Leverage data insights to uncover opportunities and inform decision-making.
  • Evaluate existing processes and technologies to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Formulate a strategic roadmap and oversee product backlogs.
  • Guide the development, deployment, and refinement of Vendor Relations products.
  • Establish and assess KPIs for product uptake and effectiveness.
  • Encourage interdepartmental collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated product management experience in the retail sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in product management, vendor relations, merchandising, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with EDI and other supply chain management technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and driving organizational transformation.
