Customer Service Admin (Entry-Level)

Location: Windsor, CT

Machinery Finance Resources, a division of Morris Group, Inc., is a leading organization in equipment financing dedicated to supporting the manufacturing sector. We specialize in providing tailored financial solutions to assist manufacturers in acquiring essential machinery. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Admin to join our team in Windsor, CT. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow within a dynamic and expanding industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Customer Service Admin, your primary duties will include managing all incoming phone calls and addressing customer service inquiries and issues, collaborating closely with both clients and financial institutions. Additional responsibilities will encompass:

  • Acting as a liaison between customers and billing service centers
  • Investigating and resolving misdirected payments
  • Processing payoff requests and ensuring accuracy, including confirmation and documentation of accounts marked as paid in full
  • Assisting with contract payments, insurance billing, and collections
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of all customer interactions and notes within the system
  • Performing filing, scanning, and general office tasks, including managing incoming and outgoing mail and ordering supplies
  • Filing UCC financing statements
  • Requesting and verifying insurance certificates for accuracy
  • Processing straightforward equipment finance transactions
  • Providing general office support

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Performing related duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate degree in Business Administration or relevant experience; familiarity with equipment leasing is advantageous.

Essential skills include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with effective problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume setting with changing demands
  • Exceptional customer service and time management skills
  • Strong mathematical skills; experience in a financial context is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, and knowledge of other financial software is beneficial

Candidates should be able to sit for extended periods and perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavy materials up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or colleagues. Frequent use of hands and arms for reaching and handling is required. Vision abilities necessary for the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Maintaining composure with the public and co-workers in everyday, stressful situations is crucial.
