Your Role

The HR Coordinator will deliver administrative support to the plant Human Resources division. This role will emphasize recruitment, policy management, training facilitation, and various administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organized, and experienced in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment. This position serves as a foundational opportunity for ambitious individuals to understand the organization and advance their careers in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to routine inquiries that necessitate knowledge of established departmental protocols and familiarity with HR operations.
  • Providing essential resources to empower employees with necessary information and materials (FMLA, LOA, ADA, Workday resources, HR Service Center, etc.).
  • Managing HR documentation for employees, ensuring compliance with I-9 regulations.
  • Coordinating meetings and training sessions as requested by HR and/or Operations partners.
  • Assisting in the preparation of correspondence as needed.
  • Monitoring attendance and timekeeping, initiating corrective actions as required.
  • Facilitating orientation sessions, including training documentation.
  • Conducting exit interviews and compiling feedback for analysis.
  • Completing special projects and assignments as necessary.
  • Acting as a visible business partner, regularly engaging with employees on the production floor across various levels.
  • Assisting in HR compliance audits, including SMETA/SWA.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels and manage upward communication.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources functions and requirements.
  • Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Previous experience with Workday/HCM systems is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Must demonstrate respect, approachability, and a team-oriented mindset while fostering strong working relationships.
