Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of the Compass Group USA team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of human resource functions across the organization. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to company standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate completion of team member timesheets in our 'MyStaff' system.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives in partnership with location leadership teams.
  • Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents.
  • Support staffing efforts, including finding temporary staff when employees are absent.
  • Provide guidance to employees on company policies and procedures, as outlined in the company handbook.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
