About the Role

The Service Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting and facilitating the smooth operation of the Service Department at Carrier, a leading global provider of healthy, safe, and sustainable building and cold chain solutions. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks, communication, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to all safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness on work sites.
  • Collaborate with Service Account Managers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Support service team members with various tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage and maintain the daily schedules for all assigned Field Engineers, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Dispatch, log, track, and assign planned and unplanned service requests in a timely manner.
  • Receive and process material orders and subcontract agreements, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Assist and serve as a liaison with operations, materials management, and shipping personnel to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
  • Maintain and update customer files, including address changes, pricing, products, delivery instructions, and other customer notes as needed.
  • Process and maintain service agreement information in Carrier's account systems.
  • Prepare and distribute invoices on billable service requests and service agreements in a timely manner.
  • Monitor service account receivables and suggest suspension of services when necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience working in a business setting
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA/AS degree
  • Accounting, purchasing, receivables, and collection experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with MSD and ServiceMax
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in a coordinator or administrative role is a plus
